Reinforcement bars
25CD4S reinforcement bars are used in various parts of an aircraft's structure, particularly in the wings. They help strengthen the spars or ribs to better withstand loads.
Tubular chassis
Composed of an assembly of welded tubes forming a three-dimensional structure, this aerospace-grade steel is perfectly suited for this application. It is typically used in this context for ultralight aircraft (ULMs).
Reinforcements
Besides the wings, 25CD4S is also used as engine mounts for ultralight aircraft (ULMs). Since the introduction of the AIR 9160 standard, this grade has been replaced by a more advanced steel: the 15CDV6 alloy.
