Certification
- The AS/EN/SJAC 9120 standard is a specific quality management system standard for the aerospace sector.
- Based on ISO 9001, it includes additional requirements such as traceability, control of records, and availability of information.
- This certification applies to a multi-site structure to ensure the same quality of service for customers across the involved sites.
Agreement
- PSD Aero Le Plessis Belleville has an agreement to deliver critical parts, which are components whose failure can lead to a hazardous situation.
- We have implemented a dedicated work methodology with the implementation of counter-verification tests on the material itself to ensure its compliance with the required specifications.
- We have the capability to manage certain special processes, such as heat treatment, which may be required for certain materials.
Certification
- The EN9100 standard is intended for organizations involved in the design, development, and production of aerospace equipment.
- Our Spanish company, GMAPSA, is specifically certified according to the EN9100 standard.
- It includes specific requirements for the aerospace industry, such as risk management, customer satisfaction, and product design and development.

Fight against obsolescence
At PSD Aero, we take a proactive approach to address material availability issues. We have the capability to provide substitute materials that are as close as possible to the original material, whether it be a direct substitute material or a material obtained through a specific route that we define.
A concrete example is our work for Airbus Helicopter, where we were able to solve a stock shortage for a flex plate, a critical component of their helicopters. We identified a new supplier and determined the required heat treatment to replicate the properties of the original part.
European standardization
As active members of the "Bureau de Normalisation de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace," we directly contribute to the development and updating of industry standards. We are involved in a dedicated group focused on steel and superalloys, working on key issues related to these essential materials. The work takes place at the European level, participating in the ASD-STAN/D4/WG3 and ASD-STAN/D4/WG/11 groups. We work closely with other industry leaders to continuously enhance standards and practices.
