PSD Aero begins work on its new warehouse in Bengaluru

On 8 May, PSD Aero officially broke ground on its future warehouse in Bengaluru, marking a key milestone in strengthening its presence in Asia. Located near the international airport and the company’s local offices, this 4,500 m² site, situated in a special economic zone, aims to enhance PSD Aero’s logistics and responsiveness in the Indian market.

The day began with shovels and blueprints, but also with a traditional groundbreaking ceremony: Bhoomi Pujan. This auspicious Hindu ritual is performed to honour Mother Earth (Bhoomi Devi) and seek her blessing before any construction begins, ensuring prosperity and a bright future for the new project.

Under the guidance of a priest, the PSD Aero team in India took part in the sacred rites, such as the chanting of mantras and the offering of symbolic items to the deities. The central element was the Shilaanyas, the laying of the first foundation stone.

After the rituals, the team of engineers and surveyors began marking out the foundations and launching the work. Thank you to our colleagues, partners and members of the local community who joined us for this special occasion. We look forward to sharing our progress as we build a facility that will serve our customers and our company for years to come.

The warehouse is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2025. This strategic development reflects PSD Aero’s desire to strengthen its international network and respond effectively to the needs of its industrial partners.
